Bring snowmobiles, skis, snowshoes, sleds, snowboards and clothes for playing in the snow. Don't forget to bring your Bible, sleeping bag, pillow and personal items. Place all items in an easily identifiable, snow-proof bag. Snowmobile rides are available for all. Cost is $75 per person until March 4, and then the price increases by $10. Your fee includes a 5:30 p.m. snow cat ride in from the Ray Benson Snow Park (snow park permits are required for the weekend), five meals and two nights lodging. Your check is your reservation. BIG WALL CLIMBER...A MARK SMITH SLIDE SHOW
February 25, 7:00pm • Pleasant Valley ChurchJoin us at Pleasant Valley Church (PVC) on Feb. 25 at 7:00 p.m. for big wall climber and PVC member (and Portland Adventist Academy teacher), Mark Smith's presentation of the route he and Richard Jensen climbed, "Wings of Steel", the most controversial climb on El Capitan in Yosemite National Park. The climb, criticized by locals as being a “bolt ladder,” proved to be harder than first thought. Countless attempts by some of the best climbers in the world ultimately vindicated Smith and his climbing partner, Richard Jensen. PVC is located at 11125 SE 172nd Ave. in Happy Valley, one mile north of Sunnyside Rd.

LOVE AND RESPECT 2ND DVD SERIES "BUILDING BLOCKS"

June 11 - June 27, 2012 • Amazon region of BrazilExperience 16 adventure-filled days in mission service on the Rio Negro in the Amazon region of Brazil! Plan to join us June 11 - 27! Project Amazon 2012 is the acceptance of a challenge to build a Home for Missionaries in a small town on the Rio Negro. Some participants will be assigned to work with the medical team to assist professionals in the treatment of medical and dental infirmities. Others will be assigned to teach the children of Novo Airao about Jesus during the week-long VBS. All will have the opportunity to help with the construction of a Home for Missionaries under the supervision of skilled carpenters.
